Kim Randall

About the Artist
Based in Albany, Kim Randall creates captivating paintings on canvas inspired by the local landscape, flora, fauna and the energy she feels from being present amongst it. Working from her home studio nestled in native bush, Kim quietly observes and then expresses wonder & beauty through both abstract and realistic elements.
"In my most recent body of work, Energy & Observations, I am interested in portraying how nature makes me feel through visual storytelling. Energetic abstract brushstokes combine with intricate details my curiosity helps find. The natural world softens my mind, bringing me back to an innate state of being where everything makes sense, I feel alive, curious, connected, grounded and in constant awe of my surroundings. This is why I paint and this is the feeling I want to share with others."
